OUR SERVICES - THE J.U.M.P INITIATIVE
It has been the goal of all Recovery House of Worship, across the country, to meet the needs of their prospective communities through volunteerism, food banks, and substance abuse facilities. Recovery House of Worship York, founded in December 2015 follows in that same tradition. Over the last five years, Recovery House of Worship York has established four faith-based 12-Step Recovery Overcomer meetings in three Pennsylvania Counties and online. RHOW York has built relationships with local treatment providers and established itself as a referral source to enable individuals seeking substance abuse treatment to receive services quickly.
RHOW York's mentorship program provides mentorship by Certified Recovery Specialist, to treatment court participants, providing much-needed support during the program and after graduation.
In 2018 RHOW York launched the J.U.M.P. Initiative Housing program to provide housing for men coming out of treatment facilities seeking a fresh start. Participants receive mentorship, case management services that include referral to mainstream benefits, credit repair, job search, next step education, and other resources that are needed.
